Manny Maceda is the Worldwide Managing Partner, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Bain & Company. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm's strategy and people across Bain's global network. Bain currently has more than 61 offices in 38 countries.
In his role, Manny leads the firm in its mission to help clients create high levels of value while overseeing a culture perennially named as one of the world’s best places to work.
Throughout his 30-year Bain career, Manny has advised CEOs from around the globe while being recognized as one of the foremost experts on advising companies through large-scale transformations. He is sought after for both speaking and media commentary on business, digital transformations, leadership and business’ role in society and culture.
Manny has expanded the firm’s commitment to environmental, social and governance issues through its investment of over $1 billion in pro bono consulting work, partnerships with leading groups such as the OneTen coalition, and the launch of the firm’s Impact Investing, Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility as well as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practices.
He holds an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Manny is a member of the Advisory Board of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
He lives in the San Francisco area with his wife; they have four children.
