She has established an outstanding record of successfully leading multi-billion dollar businesses with a focus on strategic growth, corporate culture and operational effectiveness. As the former CEO of United Healthcare, Ms. Boudreaux led the largest business division of UnitedHealth Group, where she had responsibility for approximately $120 billion in revenue and managed more than 60,000 employees serving 45 million consumers. Prior to United Healthcare, Ms. Boudreaux served as Executive Vice President of Health Care Services Corporation and earlier as President of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois.
Ms. Boudreaux has been named as one of Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Business since 2008, and featured by Forbes as one of 100 Most Powerful Women in the World. Additionally, she has been named by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, and received the 2018 Billie Jean King Leadership Award.
Ms. Boudreaux currently serves on the board of directors for Target, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), the Business Council, The Business Roundtable, the National Institute for Health Care Management, American Health Insurance Plans. She formerly served on the boards of trustees for Dartmouth College, the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History and board of directors for Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc..
Ms. Boudreaux earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Dartmouth College and an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School. At Dartmouth, she was an All-American and was honored by the NCAA as a Silver Anniversary Award winner and inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame, as well as Dartmouth’s Wearers of the Green Hall of Fame.
