Dan Schneider serves as Director, Communications, at the Business Roundtable (BRT). In this role, he supports the Vice Presidents, Communications, in developing and leading BRT’s proactive and earned media strategy to advance the organization’s strategic objectives, drive coverage of key policy initiatives, and promote a positive industry and brand narrative for BRT’s members.
Prior to joining BRT, Schneider spent over ten years in the federal government, most recently as Communications Director for U.S. Rep. French Hill (AR-02). He previously served as Vice President of Communications at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Associate Director for Communications at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, Press Secretary at the House Committee on Energy and Commerce under former Chairmen Greg Walden (OR-02) and Fred Upton (MI-06), and Press Secretary for U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson (OH-06).
Dan received his B.A. in political science from Ohio University and lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife, son, and dog.
