Highlights:

Doug McMillon, Chairman, President and CEO of Walmart, on the U.S. education system and workforce preparedness:

"I think a lot of change needs to happen everywhere. Change is happening in business. Change is happening in government. Change has got to happen in the education system."

Ginni Rometty, Chairman, President and CEO of IBM Corporation, on the importance of workforce diversity in developing new technologies:

"AI is taught, and therefore, it can learn bias. So it is really important that we have diverse workforces that train these things, that we use tools that make them not biased… These discussions about getting an inclusive working culture--it is critical to our future."

Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the President, The White House, on life-long learning and skills development:

"We are at this moment, this turning point, where there is so much change and it's happening so rapidly that you can't rely on just the federal government or state and local governments or the private sector alone. And we fundamentally have to rethink human potential. And rethink it not just K through 12. This term 'life-long learning' is almost a cliche that people throw out--but what does it actually mean, and how are we going to actually accomplish it?"
