Washington - Today, on the tenth anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program’s creation, Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten issued the following statement urging Congress to pass a bipartisan permanent solution:
“It’s long past time to enact commonsense immigration reforms to promote a healthy economy, secure our borders and remain true to our history of welcoming immigrants. Reform should include a permanent legislative solution for DACA recipients, who were brought here as minors and now live in limbo under the temporary DACA program. Many DACA recipients make invaluable contributions to Business Roundtable companies, and we urge Congress to act quickly to pass a bipartisan permanent legislative solution.”
