CEO COVID-19 Task Force Business Roundtable Statement on SCOTUS Vaccine Mandate Decision

Jan 13, 2022

Washington — Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today issued the following statement upon the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS):

“We respect the Court’s judgement regarding OSHA’s authorities. Business Roundtable companies are committed to keeping their employees and customers safe and to continued efforts to promote vaccination. Before the mandate was announced, many of our companies led their own vaccination efforts. While companies may take different approaches based on their unique circumstances and diverse workforces, employee and customer safety remain paramount, and efforts to promote vaccination will not abate.”
