On June 30, 2021, Jonay Foster Holkins, Business Roundtable Senior Director of Policy, Racial Equity and Justice, testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services Subcommitee on Diversity and Inclusion during a hearing on financial services industry commitments to economic and racial justice. She discussed Business Roundtable and Business Roundtable member company efforts to address the racial wealth gap, detailing how Roundtable member companies have been taking important steps to advance racial equity and justice, including contributing to CDFIs and MDIs, producing and preserving affordable housing and investing in minority‐owned small businesses.
