“Business Roundtable thanks Senate and House Republicans and Democrats and the Administration for their hard work to reach bipartisan consensus on a legislative package to deliver much-needed economic relief to workers, families and businesses affected by the COVID-19 health crisis in communities across America. In addition to providing direct financial support to individuals and families most in need, the legislation will help small and medium-sized businesses and their employees, many of whom are suppliers and customers of Business Roundtable members. We urge Congress to pass immediately this ‘Phase III’ legislation and deliver it to the President’s desk without delay.”
